Flexiroam eSIM gives you instant access to data when you travel without the hassle of carrying or swapping in physical SIMs. You never have to worry about losing another SIM again! Flexiroam allows you to use mobile data in more than 150 countries worldwide by simply following the steps below:
eSIM (embedded SIM) is an advanced new technology that uses a microchip within your device to give you instant access to data when you travel. eSIM works the same as the traditional SIM cards but eliminates the need to carry around physical SIM cards. It is convenient and contactless allowing you to instantly install and start using mobile data plans. It is backed by GSMA and accepted by mobile networks worldwide.

You can purchase Global, Regional and Local data plans at our webshop travel.flexiroam.com and directly from our Flexiroam X App. All our Flexiroam data plans come with a complimentary eSIM.
If you have made the purchase from our webshop, Flexiroam will email the activation code(s) to the email address you have provided upon purchase.
If you have made the purchase from the Flexiroam X App, data plan and eSIM will be automatically added to your Flexiroam account upon successful purchase. You can view it in the “Manage my SIM” section of the Flexiroam X app.
Flexiroam X App is available for free on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express credit and debit card payments. You can also pay using Flexiroam mobile wallet credits via Flexiroam X App. All transactions are in US dollars.
Yes, you can purchase multiple data plans on Flexiroam web-shop. However, purchases through Flexiroam X App only allows one plan per order.
My eSIM
eSIM installation is simple and instant. Follow the instructions below to install your eSIM:
Flexiroam eSIM is valid for a lifetime after activation in your device. However, It will be deactivated after 1 years of inactivity.
Flexiroam eSIM does not have a mobile number at the moment. Your contacts, however, will be able to reach you via any 3rd party data enabled communication application such as WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram, Line or similar applications.
You are not able to receive SMS at the moment while using our mobile data plans. Your contacts, however, will be able to send you text messages via any 3rd party data enabled communication application such as WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram, Line or similar applications.
You can top up your eSIM on Flexiroam X App anytime and anywhere. Just follow the steps below:
- Login to your Flexiroam account
- Go to “Get Data Plan”
- Select the data plan you want to purchase
- Selected data plans will be available in your “View My Plans” page for activation upon successful purchase.
Data speed varies depending on the country and location. 3G coverage is available in over 120 countries while 4G coverage is available in up to 60 of those countries. Please refer to our coverage list to find out more.
Yes, Flexiroam eSIM can be used for tethering and Hotspot. Follow your device’s guide to setup tethering and Hotspot.
Jersey Telecom is Flexiroam’s global partner that gives you access to more than 500 mobile networks in 150+ countries around the world. It is the default eSIM label for Flexiroam. However, you can edit the label to “Flexiroam” for your own reference.
Note: Apple devices running on iOS 14.3 or later can view the secondary label as “Flexiroam”.
If you upgrade to a new eSIM device or reset your device to factory settings, follow the guide below to reinstall:
- Ensure that you have successfully deleted/removed the eSIM from your old device.
- Login to your existing on your new device
- Go to Flexiroam app > Account > SIM Manager > Tap to install > eSIM auto installation will begin.
To delete/remove Flexiroam eSIM in your old device:
– iOS: Go to device settings > Cellular or Mobile Data > Select Flexiroam eSIM > Tap Remove Cellular Plan or Data Plan.
– Android: Go to device settings > Tap Network & internet > Mobile network > Select Flexiroam eSIM >Tap Delete SIM.
Important: eSIM will not be successfully reinstalled if the eSIM is still tagged to the old device.
You can install multiple eSIMs on your device subjected to your device’s capacity. Generally, eSIM compatible devices allow up to 7 eSIM installations into one device. However, you can only link one eSIM to each of your Flexiroam account.
Flexiroam eSIMs are not transferable from one account to another account after you have installed them. You can, however, forward the extra uninstalled eSIM to your family and friends with eSIM phones anywhere in the world.
Yes, you can forward any extra eSIM in your SIM manager to your family and friends with eSIM compatible phones anywhere in the world. Follow the guide below to share your eSIM:
- Login to your Flexiroam X App account
- Go to “ Manage My SIM”
- Tap on the eSIM you would like share
- Tap the “share” icon and select the app and the contact that you want to share the eSIM to.

Flexiroam X App is the world’s leading eSIM data plan App that gives you access to more than 500 mobile networks in 150+ countries around the world. The App allows you to do the following:
- Purchase eSIM and data plans
- Manage multiple eSIMs and data plans
- Share data instantly to your friends anywhere in the world (See also What is Flexishare)

- Check your eSIM connection status
6. Top-up and purchase data plans with your Flexiroam wallet
Flexishare is a Flexiroam X App feature that allows you to instantly share your data plans to other Flexiroam users anywhere in the world instantly.
Yes, the data plan validity would be the same starting from the shared date.
You cannot cancel data plans after data has been shared.
Flexistart is a feature that we have for all Flexiroam’s data plans. It allows you to start your plan any time within 6 months from the purchase date.
To activate your data plan in Flexiroam X App, first you need to apply your plan activation code. Once you have done that or have successfully purchased a data plan from the App, follow the instructions below to start your plan:
- Login to your account
- Go to Account
- View My Plans
- Select Data Plan and
Troubleshooting
By default, Flexiroam eSIM will automatically connect to the strongest signal in your destination country from the available operators. However, you may switch manually to your preferred supported operator accordingly.
You can proceed to the Flexiroam X app to purchase a regular SIM or microchip and you can enjoy the data plan once you have put in the relevant.
If you do not have an eSIM compatible phone, you are able to purchase a normal SIM or microchip after you have downloaded the Flexiroam X app.
